Makaton- Level 1
Tuesday Thursday 10th and 17th October 2024

Makaton is a unique language programme that uses symbols, signs and speech to enable people to communicate. It supports the development of essential communication skills such as attention and listening, comprehension, memory, recall and organisation of language and expression.
Level 1 training provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme.
IASS is offering parents and carers the opportunity to complete a free Level 1 workshop. This will be delivered over two mornings (totalling 6 hours) and will require you to attend both sessions in order to gain your certificate and participant manual.
